Coping Through COVID-19

Coping Through COVID-19 is an online treatment program that has been designed by researchers and clinical psychologists from the Traumatic Stress Clinic. This program aims to teach individuals various strategies to cope with distress associated with COVID-19.

In 2020, the program was delivered by our experienced clinical psychologists with Australian residents during the height of the pandemic. It is the first clinical intervention conducted for managing COVID-19 related distress. The results from this clinical trial will soon be available for the public to access via a journal article.

The program is designed for administration by clinicians for participants in small groups via video call. There are six, 60 minute sessions for this program. A self-guided version of this program is also available.

The treatment manual is now available for clinicians to access. If you would like to receive a copy of the treatment manual, please fill out a request form here.

Please note that this manual is DIFFERENT to the one used for the current COVID-19 program described in the ‘treatment’ section of our website.
